The Institute for Retraining and Advanced Training of Legal Personnel hosted an international seminar-training on “Green Economy, Energy and Investment Law within the Framework of World Trade Organization Law.”

The training addressed the fundamental principles of WTO law, Uzbekistan’s accession process to the WTO, green economy, renewable energy, carbon taxes, and the legal regulation of foreign investment.

With the participation of international experts, particular attention was paid to the practical application of international trade rules, the harmonisation of national legislation with international standards, and the creation of a stable legal environment for investors.

The main objective was to prepare legal professionals to work effectively in Uzbekistan’s new economic and international legal environment and to strengthen their up-to-date knowledge and practical skills.

The seminar-training was organised in cooperation with the Konrad Adenauer Foundation of Germany.

At the conclusion of the event, participants took part in a question-and-answer session and case-study analysis and were awarded certificates.
