On April 20, 2026, the first day of a two-day practical training on international arbitration was successfully held at the Institute for Retraining and Advanced Training of Legal Personnel. The training was organized in cooperation with the Turkic Arbitration Association.

The training brought together internationally recognized experts from France, Germany, Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Kazakhstan, who shared their experience and practical knowledge with the participants. The sessions were conducted in an interactive format, ensuring active participation.

During the first day of the training, the following key topics were covered:

-international arbitration institutions, basic rules, and the roles of participants in the process;

-proper drafting of arbitration agreements and important aspects related to jurisdiction;

-formation of arbitral tribunals, appointment of arbitrators, and their independence;

-procedural management, case administration, and effective methods for handling complex disputes;

-a special presentation on investment arbitration.

Throughout the sessions, participants gained not only theoretical knowledge but also essential practical skills based on real-life cases, and had the opportunity to directly engage with international experts.
